Mr. Prasun Kumar is an accomplished individual with a dedication to academic excellence and fervor for legal scholarship. He holds the distinction of being UGC NET qualified for Assistant Professorship, a testament to his commitment to advancing knowledge and fostering learning environments. His journey in the realm of law began with a BALLB (Honors) degree from Chanakya National Law University, Patna, showcasing his unwavering dedication and passion for legal studies. Subsequently, he pursued further academic pursuits, culminating in a Master of Laws (LL.M.) specializing in Constitutional and Administrative Law from Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal.

During his college journey, he had enriching experiences through various law internships at Bihar State Legal Services Authority - Patna, Arti Singh and Associates - New Delhi, Chamber of Senior Advocate Aishwarya Bhati, Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, and Delhi High Court. These diverse internships have equipped him with practical skills, legal knowledge, and a deep understanding of courtroom procedures, preparing him for a successful legal career.

In addition to legal internships, he had the privilege of interning at various NGOs, where he gained valuable insights and contributed to impactful projects at Restless Development, Bhoomika Vihar, Proud Indian, Social Media Matters, Sarvahitey, PARI, etc. He has attended the 72nd World Health Assembly at World Health Organization headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, wherein he presented his research on Sustainable Development Goal -5. These experiences have broadened his perspective, honed his advocacy skills, and instilled in him a deeper commitment to social justice and community empowerment.

Throughout his academic journey, he has actively engaged in research and scholarly activities, contributing to various national seminars:

  • • Presented a research paper titled "SECTION 377 OF INDIAN PENAL CODE: FIT or UNFIT" at a UGC Sponsored National Seminar on Feminine Jurisprudence and Gender Biased Laws in India.
  • • Presented a research paper titled "Women Safety in the Digital World" at a National Seminar focused on "Creating a Better and Fair Environment for Women at the Workplace."
  • • Participated and presented his research at a National Seminar centered on Intellectual Property Rights: Emerging Issues and Challenges.

These experiences have allowed him to delve deeper into pressing societal issues, contribute to academic discourse, and develop his research and presentation skills within the legal domain. His areas of interest include Contract Law, Criminal Law, Property Law, Constitutional Law, Social Work, etc. He has a deep interest in legal research, journalism, newspaper reading, and the use of social media as a tool for awareness programs.
