Mr. Saurabh Chakraborty is currently working as Assistant Professor of Law at Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri. He has completed B.A. LL. B (Hons.) Course from Department of Law, University of Calcutta (University College of Law) in 2016. He has pursued his LL.M (Post-Graduation) in Corporate Law from University School of Law & Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi in 2017.
He has pursued Post Graduate Diploma in International Trade and Business Law from Indian Academy of International Law & Diplomacy (An organ of the Indian Society of International Law, Delhi), Post Graduate Diploma in Criminology & Forensic Science from Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai University and Post Graduate Diploma in Child Rights Law from National Law School of India University, Bangalore.
Besides, he has done Diploma in Cyber law (Government Law College, Mumbai & Asian School of Cyber Laws, Pune), Certificate Course in Intellectual Property Rights and Information Technology in the Internet Age (Indian Law Institute, New Delhi), Certificate Course on Intellectual Property Rights & Competition Law (Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry), Certificate Course on IP Protection & Commercialization (Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry), Certificate Course on Real Estate Laws (West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences) & Certificate Course on Business and Commercial Laws (West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences).
He has enrolled with Bar Council of Delhi in 2017. Thereafter, he has qualified AIBE-10Th.He has qualified the UGC-NET (LAW) & WBCSC-SET (Law) in 2019.
To add to his credit, he has attended & presented papers in several national and international seminars and conferences. He has been adjudged "Best Presenter" in National Seminar on Cyber Law organized by SVKM'S NMIMS Kirit Mehta School of Law, Mumbai on 18Th December, 2021.
