Assistant Professor of Law

Ms. Anushree Saha has done her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sevoke Road. She completed her B.A. LLB. (Hons) from the Department of Law, University of North Bengal in the year of 2020. She enrolled herself for her Post Graduation in law with Specialization in Public Law in the Department of Law, University of North Bengal and completed her masters with First Class in the year of 2022. The topic of her dissertation was “Cruelty to Animals in India: Need for A New Legal Regime” under the supervision of Professor (Dr.) Gangotri Chakraborty.

During her under-graduation she has successfully participated in various extracurricular activities including national and intra-departmental moot court competitions, debate competition, client counseling, etc. She has also successfully presented various papers in various National and UGC Sponsored seminars throughout her academic career.

She also has published two papers entitled:

Her area of interest includes Constitutional Law, Family Law, Environmental Law and Civil Laws.
