Dr. Ishita Chatterjee, PhD in Law has intensive knowledge of law and vivid experience of teaching the subject as Asstt Professor in Universities including the Allahabad University. She has authored a number of law books on Forensics, Information Technology, Intellectual Property and Scientific Evidence besides many academic articles, published under distinguished Law Journals.

Dr. Ishita Chatterjee is the Principal of Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Affiliated to University of North Bengal, recognized by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi and approved under 2 (f) and 12 (B) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. She completed her schooling from St. Joseph’s School, Siliguri, Dist- Darjeeling. She has graduated and post graduated from University of North Bengal, Siliguri, Dist- Darjeeling. She completed her Doctor in Philisophy in Law from Allahabad University with a specialization in Law of Tort and Consumer Protection laws. She has teaching experience of 8 years.
