Common Law Admission Test commonly\nknown as CLAT is an All India Entrance Examination conducted by the\nUniversities and National Law Schools for admission to their under-graduate and\npost-graduate degree programmes. In order to qualify CLAT there are two stages-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Firstly after passing 12th standard for a five year integrated course in B.A. LL.B, or B. COM LL.B, or BBA LL.B the subjects for the entrance exam are viz. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>English (Including Comprehension) 40 Marks,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elementary Mathematics (20 Marks), <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>General Knowledge\/Current Affairs (50 Marks), <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Logical Reasoning (40 Marks), <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Legal Reasoning (50 Marks). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Total\nconsisting of 200 Marks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Secondly, after having a Law degree with a minimum of Fifty five percent(55%) of Marks or its equivalent marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General\/OBC\/PWD categories and 50% of Marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to SC\/ST categories. Pattern of the exam is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Multiple Choice Questions &#8211; 100 marks<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Subjective Questions &#8211; 50 Marks<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Total\nconsisting of 150 Marks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Syllabus for objective questions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Constitution of India &#8211; 40 Marks<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other Law Subjects &#8211; 60 Marks (Which includes Criminal Law, Jurisprudence, Contract, Law of Torts, International Law, Intellectual Property Rights)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Law is one of the best career option in India and in order to get an admission in best Law Colleges in India CLAT is required.
