The Indian Institute of Legal Studies successfully concluded its 2nd Intra Moot Court Competition, held on the 29th and 31st of August 2026. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from dynamic student advocates representing Semester V and Semester III of the five-year BBA LL.B. (Hons.) / B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) courses, alongside students from Semester III of the three-year LL.B. program.

The proposition centered on a complex matrimonial dispute concerning a Buddhist Scheduled Tribe couple, testing the boundaries of civil court jurisdiction, tribal autonomy, and constitutional guarantees of equality in the absence of codified personal law.
