The Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri, has been conducting free legal awareness programs in various Schools, Gram Panchayats, NGO's, and other institutions located in North Bengal, with the students and teachers participating in the program. The program aims to empower the students of the region with the knowledge of the legal rights and duties, creating the legal literacy and empowerment of individuals regarding the contemporary socio-legal issues.
