Blood Donation Camp on World Environment Day 2026

Once again, in a remarkable demonstration of social responsibility and environmental consciousness, the Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri, successfully organised a Blood Donation Camp on World Environment Day, 5th June 2026. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff, reinforcing the spirit of service and community engagement.

The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Trishna Gurung,Principal-In-Charge, who highlighted the unique and thoughtful combination of environmental awareness with a life-saving cause. Organised in collaboration with Siliguri Terai Lions Blood Centre the Internal Quality Assurance Cell IQAC & NSS Unit of the Indian Institute of Legal Studies Siliguri, the camp collected overwhelming 52 Units which will benefit patients in need across various hospitals. 

Throughout the day, volunteers ensured a smooth flow of donors, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols. Donors received certificates of appreciation and refreshments post-donation, encouraging a positive and supportive environment.
