Celebrating the Bond of Rakshabandhan - 28 August 2026

The Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri, had the privilege of celebrating **Rakshabandhan with the personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at GC CRPF, Siliguri.

The celebration was a heartfelt occasion of togetherness, respect and gratitude, as our students tied Rakhis to the brave personnel of the CRPF, honouring their commitment, courage and dedicated service to the nation.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Shri Jayant Kumar, Deputy Inspector General (DIG), CWS-3, CRPF, Siliguri, for his gracious presence, warm hospitality and kind support in making the celebration a memorable one.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Mr. Rajib Kumar Das, Faculty In-Charge, who also delivered the Introductory Speech. Ms. Dhanushree Gurung, student of Semester IX and  presented the Letter of Appreciation, followed by the Concluding Speech by Mr. Charles Chettri, student of semester V.
