Celebrating the Legacy of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Jayanti

The institution solemnly observed Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Jayanti, commemorating the birth anniversary of the principal architect of the Indian Constitution and a visionary social reformer whose ideals continue to inspire generations.

The programme commenced with the opening ceremony, followed by an opening address by the Principal In-Charge Dr. Trishna Gurung, who highlighted the significance of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s invaluable contribution towards nation-building, social justice, and constitutional democracy.

This was followed by the lighting of the lamp and the chanting of the Deep Prajwalan Mantra, symbolising the triumph of knowledge, wisdom, and enlightenment.

The celebration was enriched by a series of heartfelt cultural performances and recitations:
Bengali Recitation by Ritusmita Saha (LL.M. Sem IV)
Dance Performance by Meghna Das (BA-A Sem IV)
Hindi Recitation by Abhishek Tiwari LLB
English Recitation by Sneha Suzzana Pradhan (BBA SEM VIII)

The event was further graced by an insightful and inspiring address by Mr. Arkaprabha Bhattacharya, who spoke on the life, vision, and enduring legacy of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.

The programme concluded with the closing statements, followed by the vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Gaurav Tamang, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members, participants, and students for making the observance meaningful and memorable.
