Celebration of The 80th independence Day at indian institute of legal Studies, Siliguri

The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with immense pride and patriotic fervour at the Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri, on 15th August 2026.

The celebration commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony by our Hon’ble Founder and Chairman, Dr. Joyjit Choudhury, in the  presence of the esteemed members of the Governing Body, Smt. Gauri Choudhury and Smt. Nandita Choudhury, and Dr. Trishna Gurung, Principal-in-Charge, Indian Institute of Legal Studies.

Following the flag hoisting ceremony, the programme continued with vibrant cultural performances by the students, featuring patriotic songs and dance performances that beautifully reflected the spirit of freedom, unity, and national pride.

A special moment of the programme was the badge distribution ceremony for the newly appointed Student Representatives and Class Representatives,from both 5 Year  and 3 Year LL. B. courses marking their new responsibilities and commitment towards representing the student community.

The enthusiastic participation of the students, faculty members, and staff made the celebration a memorable and grand success.
