Research Focus:

"Protection of Scheduled Tribe Land under the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955: An Empirical Assessment of Awareness and Enforcement."

Interacting directly with the local community, the team evaluated grassroots awareness surrounding statutory safeguards against illegal land alienation, including the requirement for prior administrative permissions and legal remedies under Section 14E. The field findings revealed a stark 100% gap in awareness regarding these statutory protections—highlighting an urgent need for legal literacy and proactive administrative outreach among Schedule Tribes.
