Free Legal Aid & Awareness Program At Central Girls' High School, Jalpaiguri

The Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri has been conducting free legal awareness programs in various schools located in North Bengal, with the students and the teachers participating in the program. The program aims to empower the student's of the region with the knowledge of the legal rights and duties, creating the legal literacy and empowerment of individuals regarding the contemporary socio- legal issues. 2. Koushik Barman, (5 Years BBA LL.B(H) Sem - VIII, Executive Member, Legal Aid Society) - Crime against women in India and the legal framework to curb its menaces.
3. Aditya Narayan Roy, (5 Years BCom LL.B.(H), Semester - VI, Member, Legal Aid Society) -  Human Trafficking as a modern form of slavery with reference to cyber trafficking.
