A Free Legal Aid and Awareness Programme was conducted in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) and the Kalimpong Gram Panchayat, 8 Mile.

The Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri, has been conducting free legal awareness programs across various Schools, Gram Panchayats, NGOs, and other institutions in North Bengal, with students and teachers actively participating. The program aims to empower individuals in the region with knowledge of their legal rights and duties, fostering legal literacy and awareness regarding contemporary socio-legal issues.
