Indian Institute of legal studies Extends Special Correctional Home Project to Jalpaiguri Central Correctional Home

Indian Institute of legal studies have extended their special correctional home project to Jalpaiguri central correctional home. And the students were privileged to have an interactive session with the superintendent of Jalpaiguri central correctional home as well as the jailor and the welfare officer. As this session cover various aspect regarding the infrastructure of the central correctional home. The problem of the under trial prisoners who were from the hills as the communication was the major concern.
Even the students members have had an interactive session with the undertrial prisoners and the convicted one's regarding there legal aid and there current case status.
