Indian Institute of Legal Studies Observes Independence Day at Siliguri Special Correctional Home

On the 79th Independence Day, the Indian Institute of Legal Studies organised a visit to the Siliguri Special Correctional Home on 15th August, 2025. The visit was marked by a meaningful celebration of freedom and humanity, where students and faculty members of Indian Institute of Legal Studies actively participated.

The visit was a significant occasion where the IILS delegation witnessed the Independence Day celebration inside the Correctional Home and had the honour of felicitating Sub-Inspector Santosh Sarkar and other respected dignitaries. This experience offered students a deeper understanding of responsibility, dignity, and the values of justice, while fostering empathy and social awareness.
