Right To Privacy

Privacy an utmost sensitive issue based upon personal rights. Every one Every individuals of near about 150 nation enjoys right to privacy. Privacy as an right has turned out to be a vulnerable issue in the recent times. Right to freedom, right to personal liberty is a celebrated right of India as per the Article 21 of the Indian Constitution, 1950. Right to privacy is an implied right . There are number of questions about the burning concern that how to protect the privacy of individuals.

Right to Privacy stem its root from Natural Rights.  Therefore privacy  as a right is independent of customary rights or any other law of the land and hence it is universal in its true sense and nature. The term is drawing attention due to the recent technological development like photography,  social networking, recent government up gradation to information technology etc. Right to privacy provides the domain to keep boundary around human body and human life.

Now there is an disequilibrium betweenprivacy and disclosure between them specially in the social networking sites. Most of the internationalist consider databases and government surveillance on it poses a major threat on right to privacy.  For instance like Aadhaar Card where biological as well as information technology related information are disclosed in it; every information are disclosed in it and therefore privacy are severely injured and unsecured. If there is hack of data bases then where the nation security will be or rather what shall be security of every individual.

Right to privacy is the personal right of every individual or to  rather every citizen. Privacy is showered from natural right and hence it must be free from being interpreted based on customary law or any other legal right. Privacy must be expressed right instead of being implied. Therefore amendment of Article 21 is indeed required on this grievous issue of protection of privacy.
