Dr. Aditya Awasthi is a distinguished legal academician and researcher with over more than five years of experience in higher education. He holds a Ph.D. focused on the comparative analysis of copyright violations relating to OTT platforms in India and the USA. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Law, he brings deep expertise in Intellectual Property Law and Cyber Law to his pedagogy. Throughout his career, Dr.Awasthi has successfully balanced his teaching duties with significant administration positions, including roles as a Placement In-charge, Academic Coordinator, and member of various Faculty Boards and Academic Councils.
An incredibly prolific scholar, Dr. Awasthi has authored five books and numerous research papers published in Scopus-indexed journals, covering diverse topics from international law to digital data protection. His innovative contributions to the legal field are further evidenced by a copyright registration for a consumer case study and two patent publications regarding digital copyright frameworks and AI-generated innovation. Beyond the classroom, he is an active voice in the legal community, serving on the editorial boards of several journals and acting as an advisory board member for sustainability initiatives. Dr. Awasthi combines a commitment to outcome-based teaching with a proven track record of mentoring the next generation of legal professionals.
