Dr. Mir Shatil is an Assistant Professor of Law at the Indian Institute of Legal Studies (IILS), Siliguri. He holds a Ph.D. in International Commercial Arbitration Law and a LL.M. specializing in Corporate and Commercial Laws. He is an accredited and empanelled Arbitrator with the Indian Institute of Arbitration & Mediation (IIAM) and the Asia-Pacific Centre for Arbitration & Mediation (APCAM).
His teaching and research interests include international commercial arbitration, corporate and commercial laws, and allied areas of legal studies. He has published research articles in national and international journals and has presented papers and participated at several seminars, conferences, and symposiums. He is actively engaged in legal research, academic writing, and the promotion of arbitration and alternative dispute resolution through his academic and professional endeavors.
