Dr. Mun Choudhury is an Assistant Professor of Law at the Indian Institute of Legal Studies. She holds an LL.M. in Corporate Law and a Ph.D. from Assam University, Silchar, with research focused on "Protection of Women from Domestic Violence: A Case Study with reference to Barak Valley in Assam".
Her areas of interest include Corporate Law and Criminal Law. She has authored a book chapter on "Domestic Violence against Women in COVID-19 Pandemic" and a research article published in the Indian Journal of Law and Justice.
Dr. Choudhury has participated in various Seminars, Workshops, and Conferences. She served as Chartered President of the Rotaract Club, Assam University, Silchar in 2018-2019. She has also worked as a Para Legal Volunteer with DLSA, Cachar, Assam until 2025 and contributed to a 6 month ICSSR Project on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao in 2023. She remains actively engaged in social initiatives.
