Dr. Neha Pawar Singh is an accomplished academician and researcher specializing in Political Science, Public Administration, and International Relations.  Currently working as Assistant Professor for Masters in Public Administration & Governance with Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Darjeeling. With over five years of teaching experience, she has served as an Assistant Professor at Guru Nanak Dev University (Amritsar), Arunachal University of Studies, and other reputed institutions in the Northeastern states of India.

She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar focusing on India’s Act East Policy and the Role of Northeastern States. Her academic credentials include a Master’s in Public Administration, along with qualifications in UGC-NET (Public Administration) and NESLET (Political Science). These qualifications allow her to contribute effectively to both Political Science and Public Administration disciplines. Dr. Singh is a prolific researcher and has published extensively in UGC CARE-listed journals, covering themes such as regional cooperation, ethnic conflict, governance, and India’s foreign policy. Some of her notable research works include publications in journals like Third Concept and World Focus.

In addition to her research contributions, she is also an author and co-author of multiple academic books, including Political Process in India, Nationalism in India, Administrative Theory, Personnel Administration in India Financial Administration etc. which are being introduced in the bachelor’s syllabus of various universities across India.  Beyond her academic pursuits, she has been actively engaged in government research initiatives, including the Punjab Government’s Special Task Force (STF) study on jail inmates and drug use. She has also participated in social awareness programs under the Election Commission and has contributed to policy research through her association with Government projects like “Social impact Assessment (SIA) for Land Acquisition for Construction of Malwa Canal I/II on left side of Rajasthan feeder canal in districts of Ferozpur, Faridkot, and Sri Mukhtasar Saheb, Punjab: Under Right to Fair compensation and transparency in Land acquisition, rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.”  She is also a contributor for one of the India’s renowned defence magazines “Indian Military Review”.
