Arkaprava Bhattacharya is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Law at the Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri. He holds a B.B.A. LL.B. (Honours) from the Indian Institute of Legal Studies and an LL.M. from Tripura University. He has also qualified the West Bengal State Eligibility Test (WB SET) in Law. His academic interests encompass Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, Human Rights Law, Health Law, Criminal Law, Gender Justice, Refugee Law, and Law and Technology.
His scholarly contributions include research papers published in reputed peer reviewed journals and chapters in edited volumes. His publications include Human Rights and Corporate Whistleblowing: Towards a Robust Legal Framework in India and The Role of Indian Judiciary in Providing Remedies to Aggrieved Arrested Persons: An Analysis of Evolving Trends. He has also presented research papers at national and international academic conferences on diverse themes including Right to Information, Sedition Law, and Refugee Justice.
