Mr. Sanjay Kumar Sahu

Assistant Professor of Law

Sanjay Kumar Sahu is an Assistant Professor of Law at the Indian Institute of Legal Studies (IILS) and has pursued LL.M. from National Law School of India University. He is a graduate of Hidayatullah National Law University and qualified the UGC NET 2026. His research interests include Constitutional Law, International Law, Environmental Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Corporate Law, Cyber Law, and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

?He has three publications to his credit, including two peer-reviewed journal articles- "The Singapore Convention on Mediation: Limits and Lessons" and "Deepfakes, Constitutional Identity Rights, and Digital Evidence: An Integrated Legal Framework for Article 21 Protection and Forensic Authentication in India" as well as a book chapter titled "Judicial Engagement and Pro Bono Lawyering in India: Evolving Pathways for Inclusive Access to Justice", published in the edited volume NyayaSpandana: Empowering Legal Literacy(Aseem Prakashan).

?He has also presented six research papers at prestigious national and international conferences hosted by leading law universities, including HNLU Raipur, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University Sonipat, NUALS Kochi, HPNLU Shimla, CNLU Patna, and NUSRL Ranchi. His presentations have addressed diverse themes such as constitutionalism, tribal justice, judicial appointments, reproductive rights, intellectual property, labour law, and climate governance.

?In addition to his research, He has actively contributed to legal education and institutional development through leadership roles in legal aid initiatives, moot court administration, alumni engagement, and student governance. His academic work reflects a commitment to advancing legal scholarship, interdisciplinary research, and access to justice.
