Ms. Dipannita Chatterjee is an Assistant Professor of English at the Indian Institute of Legal Studies, with over three years of experience in higher education. Her areas of expertise include English Communication, Professional Communication, and Soft Skills Training. She holds a Postgraduate degree and an M.Phil. in English from Kazi Nazrul University.
Her teaching philosophy centres on creating engaging, learner-centred classrooms that encourage effective communication, critical thinking, and professional confidence. Prior to her current role, she served as an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Language and Communication, NSHM Knowledge Campus, Durgapur, where she also served as the Language Lab In-charge. In this capacity, she integrated technology into language teaching and developed interactive learning modules to strengthen students’ linguistic competence and communication skills.
Alongside her teaching responsibilities, she remains actively engaged in academic research and is committed to continuous learning, pedagogical innovation, and the holistic development of students.
