Ms. Sahansheela Sharma

Ms. Sahansheela Sharma is an Assistant Professor of Law with a strong academic foundation and has a keen interest in legal research, teaching and interdisciplinary legal studies. She completed her BA.LLB (Hons) from Department of Law, University of North Bengal (Gold Medalist for the batch 2010 to 2015). And further completed her LLM from Alliance University, Bangalore. Currently she is pursuing her Ph.D. from Department of Law, University of North Bengal. And has duly completed her pre-submission viva and the submission of her thesis.  Her specialization in her doctoral studies is the Constitutional Law and the aspect dealing with Centre-State Relationship. She has demonstrated her academic proficiency through contribution and publication in the Scopus Index Journals and also through her participation in the national and international seminars, conferences and faculty development programme. Before joining the academics, she also has around five years of experience working as an Advocate in the trial courts of North Bengal. She believes in the idea of merging the theoretical studies along with the practical application of Law while imparting the knowledge to the students.
