Assistant Professor law

Ms. Supriya is an Assistant Professor, employed at Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Darjeeling since July 28, 2025. She’s an NLU Graduate, UGC-NET and AIBE qualified, registered under Delhi Bar Council. Her most prominent paper presentation has been at the International Conference organised by International Council of Jurists, London at the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi; the paper was also rewarded with publication in their journal which was double peer reviewed. Her eloquence in writing was also marked back in her school days, when she was ranked First in All India Essay Writing Competition organised by United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan.

As a legal professional, Ms. Supriya has significant experiences of contributing in versatile fields of law, which includes working as a Law Researcher, Immigration, Criminal, and Arbitration lawyer in Delhi based Law Firms.

She has remarkably achieved membership of the Japan Association of Arbitrators owing to her legal career history while working as an immigration lawyer to Japan.

Now as a full time academician, she aspires to impart the best of her learnings that she has achieved from diverse spheres of legal science for her students.
