1st Intra-Class A.D.R. Competition, 2026

The 1st Intra-Class A.D.R. Competition was conducted on 8th June, 2026 for the students of B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), Semester VIII as part of the practical component of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (A.D.R.) course.
A total of 35 students participated, forming 12 teams across 6 groups. The competition was based on three propositions: Commercial Dispute, Hindu Family Property Dispute, and Restitution of Conjugal Rights.
The arbitral proceedings were adjudicated by:
- Groups 1 & 2: Mr. Soumyajit Mukherjee
- Groups 3 & 4: Mr. Shuvam Ghosh
- Groups 5 & 6: Ms. Upasana Bishnu
The event was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Prerna Lama, Convenor of the Debate Society and A.D.R. Practical Teacher. The competition provided students with practical exposure to arbitral proceedings and enhanced their advocacy, analytical, and dispute resolution skills.
