Commencement of 7th Intra - Moot Court Competition
26-05-2026
The competition commenced on 19th May, 2026. This year’s proposition placed participants before one of the most contested intersections of Constitutional Law, the right to privacy under Article 21, Substance use in intersection with religious Customs and Usage, and the State’s power to criminalise personal conduct under the NDPS Act, 1985. The fictional case challenged students to think beyond textbook answers and engage with questions that courts, philosophers, and lawmakers continue to wrestle with: Can the four walls of a home shield what the law forbids? Can spirituality justify what the statute criminalises?
