Empirical Visit to LIC Office, Dinhata, by LL.B. 5th Semester Students

On 05 October 2026, the students of LL.B. 5th Semester, Indian Institute of Legal Studies Cooch Behar, undertook a special empirical visit to the LIC Office, Dinhata, as part of their insurance law course.
The visit provided the students with practical exposure to the functioning of a life insurance office and helped them understand various aspects of life insurance, including policyholder services, nomination, premium payment, claims, and related procedures.
The visit enabled the students to connect their theoretical knowledge of insurance law with practical procedures and real-life applications.
