4th Day of visit by the Students of Indian Institute of Legal Studies Cooch Behar
Students from the Indian Institute of Legal Studies Cooch Behar, visited the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Cooch Behar, where they received hands-on exposure to the functioning of legal aid services and public legal education initiatives.
They engaged with DLSA officials, Panel Lawyers, and Para Legal Volunteers, gaining insights into important programs such as Lok Adalats, victim compensation, and community outreach. The visit significantly deepened their understanding of how legal assistance is delivered to marginalized communities at the local level.
