Students of the Indian Institute of Legal Studies Cooch Behar, visited the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Cooch Behar, and gained valuable practical experience regarding the legal aid system. They interacted with DLSA officials, Panel Lawyers, and Para Legal Volunteers, learning about key initiatives such as Weekly Lok Adalats, victim compensation schemes, and legal awareness programs. The visit offered meaningful insights into how legal services are made accessible to marginalized communities, enhancing the students' understanding of justice at the grassroots level.
