Free Legal Aid and Awareness Session at Nripendra Narayan High School, Cooch Behar

Indian Institute of Legal Studies Cooch Behar has conducted a free legal awareness session for the students of Nripendra Narayan High School, Cooch Behar.

The session aimed to educate the students about the various rights of the consumers under the Consumer Protection Act 2019, and the various redressal agencies. It also revolved around the topic of ragging as punishable offences. The session also focussed on the concept of General Diary, Zero FIR and FIR. The session started with an interactive discussion about the future prospective of Legal Education and Legal Awareness.
