Inaugural Ceremony of the 9th inter-college Games and Sports Championship 2025-26 (Kho-Kho - Men and Women)

The Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Cooch Behar, successfully organized the Inaugural Ceremony of the 9th Inter-College Games and Sports Championship 2025–26 (Kho-Kho – Men and Women) under the aegis of Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University on 9th December 2025.

The championship witnessed enthusiastic and disciplined participation from nineteen teams representing various affiliated colleges, reflecting a strong spirit of sportsmanship and inter-collegiate camaraderie.

The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of the Special Guest, Dr. Satarupa Ghosh, Co-ordinator, Department of Law, Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University. The ceremony was further honoured by Professor Madhab Chandra Adhikary, Registrar, Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University, and Dr. Himanshu Poddar, Assistant Professor, Department of Physical Education, Cooch Behar College. Their presence added dignity and inspiration to the inaugural event.

The inaugural session concluded on a solemn and patriotic note with the rendition of the National Anthem, followed by an oath-taking ceremony in which the participating students pledged to uphold the values of fairness, discipline, and integrity throughout the championship.
