Legal Awareness & Gender Sensitisation Programme at Dinhata College

Indian Institute of Legal Studies Cooch Behar has conducted an outstanding legal awareness session at Dinhata College in Collaboration DLSA Cooch Behar on 31/07/2026. The program highlighted the importance of Gender Sensitisation and legal challenges faced by the women of the country.
The session also focused on the importance Legal Aid and Awareness amongst the young minds of the country.
The session witnessed Smt. Sreemoyee Chakraborty, Secretary DLSA Cooch Behar, as the chief guest, Kaberi Chakraborty Panel Advocate Legal Aid and Ms. Jyoti Das, Assistant Professor of Law, IILS Cooch Behar.
Ms. Priyangana Dutta student of B.A.LL.B. (H) sem VII also spoke on the importance of Gender Sensitisation for the youths.
The session ended with an interactive session on Legal Carrier in contemporary era.
