Legal Awareness Camp at Nagar Dakaliganj High School

The Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Cooch Behar, successfully organized a Legal Awareness Camp at Nagar Dakaliganj High School on 19th August 2026, with the objective of promoting awareness about important legal rights and responsibilities among students.
The programme focused on key topics, including the Right to Education, Consumer Rights, Road Safety Laws, and the importance of legal awareness in everyday life. The sessions encouraged students to understand their legal rights and responsibilities and highlighted the role of law in promoting a safe, informed, and responsible society.
The programme was addressed by Ms. Sushmita Saha, Assistant Professor of Law. The camp also witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students of B.A. LL.B. 7th Semester and LL.B. 3rd Semester.
The Legal Awareness Camp was an enriching initiative aimed at empowering young minds through legal knowledge and awareness and encouraging them to become informed and responsible citizens.
