Outreach Programme on Gender Justice and Community Welfare at Aadarsha Shishu Aloy

On 15 May 2026, the students of B.A., LL.B. IV Semester took part in an outreach programme at Aadarsha Shishu Aloy, an Anganwadi Centre in Pundibari under the subject Gender Justice and Feminist Jurisprudence. The programme aimed to create awareness regarding child welfare, women’s health, nutrition, hygiene, and the importance of gender equality at the grassroots level. The students interacted with children, Anganwadi workers, and the various welfare services provided by the centre for mothers and children. The visit helped the students understand the practical importance of community participation and social welfare institutions in promoting gender justice and inclusive development. The participating students were Himen Barman, Protyus Roy Choudhury, Guriya Kumari Sah, Subhajit Sarkar, and Enamul Haque.
