Village Survey to the Takagach Village Rajarhat Gram Panchayat

The Indian Institute of Legal Studies Cooch Behar organized a village survey to the Takagach Village, Rajarhat Gram Panchayat on 30th of May 2025 . As a part of the curriculum, the students of LL.B VI are currently studying a subject titled “Experiential Learning and Field Work.” This course requires them to undertake empirical research and gain practical insights in different fields. The purpose of this survey was mainly educational, i.e. to collect data on health, education, and infrastructure needs and understand the socio-economic conditions of the villagers. During the village survey, the students got the opportunity to interact with the villagers and understand their lives. This village survey has helped the students to gain practical knowledge and insights into the socio-economic conditions of rural areas.
