Ms. Arpita Roy is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Cooch Behar. She has completed her graduation in English Honours from Siliguri College, affiliated to University of North Bengal, in the academic session 2014-2017. She has completed her M.A. from Sikkim University in 2019 with First Class. She was awarded with Silver Medal at Fifth Convocation of Sikkim University, for the degree of Master of Arts in English on 3rd November 2019. NSS Cell of Sikkim University awarded her with Best NSS Volunteer Award for the year 2018-2019.
At present, she is pursuing her PhD degree in English from Sikkim University and her area of research is Literary Disability Studies. She has participated and presented papers in national and international conferences organized by various Universities and colleges. She has also actively participated in various workshops; two credit courses, and training programmes organized by different institution.
