Ms. Seuti Dutta Roy is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Cooch Behar.
She completed her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Sociology from Acharya Prafulla Chandra Roy Government College, affiliated with the University of North Bengal, in 2022. She subsequently earned her Master of Arts (M.A.) in Sociology from Gour Banga University in 2024.
She successfully participated a Quiz competition and a poster session in association with IQAC and NSS organised by the University of Gour Banga 2024.
Throughout her academic journey, she has actively engaged in field-base sociological research. Her research experience includes studies on Family Planning among the Phansidewa community of Siliguri, West Bengal and a Sociological Study on Male Bullying and taunting, reflecting her interest in social issues, gender stereotypes and empirical research.
In addition to her academic pursuits she has participated in a Teacher's Development Workshop organized by the Department of Law, Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University, enhancing her teaching and Professional skills.
