Dr. Vijoy Kumar Sinha

Dr. Vijoy Kumar Sinha is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Law and Vice Principal (Academics). He is a legal academic and researcher with expertise in law, public policy, and tribal studies. He was awarded a Ph.D. in Law by the University of North Bengal in January 2026. He completed his LL.M. from Kazi Nazrul University and LL.B. (Hons.) from University of Burdwan. He previously worked as a Research Fellow (Law) at The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, where he was engaged in legal research, academic publishing, and policy-oriented projects. He also served as a Visiting Faculty member at Sister Nivedita University. His academic contributions include publications in Scopus-indexed journals and edited volumes published by international publishers such as Springer, CRC Press, and Thomson Reuters. He has presented papers at national and international conferences, delivered invited lectures, and served as the Assistant Editor of the NUJS Journal of Regulatory Studies.
